Is anyone noticing any problems with their private messaging? I know that someone has sent me one - by them telling me, but I have definately not received it!

I have had a couple of occasions where my e-mail account has said there is one, but when I've logged on there isn't! I presumed on these other occasions it was just a mistake.

I'm now wondering if I've not replied to other people - who probably now think I'm ignoring them on purpose!!

Anyone else noticing anything this?

They do have swimming and Tae Kwondo lessons at the Riverside between 8.45 and 9.45 then between 11 and 12, which could pass some time. There is no problem for them to miss these though if it's inconvenient.

I was planning on doing the van in the field thing but don't want to be turfed out in the night.

Hi,

Just to say that we are only getting on average 3 or 4 people coming to the thursday night rides starting at Liucombe House, County Hall for a 6.00 p.m. start.

We normally go for an hour and a half and around 20-25miles at the moment. We do some speed intervals and sprints, which Dave thinks he keeps winning, so we need to put him in his place.

It would be great to have some more people coming along so why not come along?

So get down to Teignmouth with all the thick neoprene for the 7.00p.m. start.

As it may well be bleedin feezin we will most probably restrict ourselves to a lot of short splash and dash incursions into the briney this week.

I expect that we will have at least two groups going out. So if the hardy ones want to go long they can do. Those who feel the cold or are a bit nervous of being in the wild ocean, then there will be a ...

If anybody wants to organise a trip out with us we can create custom breaks for all abilities.

If you want you could just use us as a base with B & B and we can supply maps, routes etc. We do have some bikes if needed. Plus if required pick up at Bergerac airport or local train station.

Hope you are all well I am over 1st week in July - see you then?

Dr James Faulkner from St Lukes Campus is studying fitness and perceived

exertion levels. He needs to test a few more males over 45. I've done it and the results are very comprehensive. You get VO2max level, best training heart rates. running economy, cholesterol level etc. The test is done over two 1 hour sessions, the second takes you to exhaustion! You will need GP consent to take part.

A test like this would normally cost £80 plus.
