Any news on the Early Bird Series this year? Your website says entries are closed (surely not). I've had a few of the North Devon Tri rabble asking me about the races. They seem to think I'm in the know for some reason

Any pointers?

Thanks much.

My name is Henry and I am organising a new event called Exmoor 30:30 which we plan holding on the first Saturday in October each year. (October 3rd for this inaugural year.)

The event requires teams of 5 to carry 30lbs around 30miles of Exmoor (ie 150lbs in total). Each team must support one of the following 4 charities:

- Royal British Legion

- St John Ambulance

- Army Benevolent Fund

- Help For Heroes

It is basically an event being run by soldiers for soldiers. ...

The Tour series, a televised cycling event with 50 pro's is coming to Exeter on Thursday, 28th, and there's a amateur race starting at around 5pm. You need a team of three so does anyone want to have a go at going fairly fast around Exeter?

Everyone.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who helped with the race Sunday. I have had lots of complimentary e-mails from competitors who say they enjoyed the day. I have sent some of them on to the old Yahoo group thingy and to the e-mail membership group. I stopped after a few as I was getting so many. The credit goes to all of you who stood out on the course in some cases all day.

You will be aware of the cock up on the novice race. I wanted to make it clear that I ...

Motorists were brilliant when asked to wait at the marshalling point. This was my first event for a while and i really enjoyed myself. The ease of crossing the link round was unbelievable and a huge thanks to those marshalls. The motorists on the bike course were very patient and considerate, so hats off to them.
