Novice Training Day
All Memebers.
We are organising a training day at Exe Valley Leisure Centre for first timers to show them the course and the ropes generally.
So far I have close to 40 names. There is only myself and James Prentice taking the session so far. With numbers like these it would be safer if we could have a couple of more people to volunteer to lead a small cycle group along the bike course.
The date will be 2nd April from about 1pm.
Any volunteers let me know.
Andy

Thanks
I'd like to thank all the team who looked after us newbies today.
It was a superb day (Don't know how you arranged the weather Andy). I learned a lot and feel so much more comfortable and confident that I can manage a sprint triathlon; although I was wondering at one point if I should have registered for a novice.
Thanks once again and roll on the 8th May.

Re: Novice Training Day
Glad you enjoyed it, Paul.
I started with the Novice Training day last year ... and ended with an Olympic tri in September! So the Club are obviously doing something right!
Enjoy the Sprint tri - you'll be fine! Take the swim steady, the bike's only 4k more than the Novice, and the run only another 2k - easy!
Thanks to Andy for organising the Novice Day. A good time was had by all, I think. And the weather certainly helped!
