Plymouth Triathlon
I'm wondering if there's anyone doing Plymouth triathlon on 8th July that is travelling down the morning of the race and can give me (& my bike) a lift? I travel very light & I'd obviously make a contribution to fuel costs. I can get the train back if you have plans for after the race.
I live in Exeter but would be happy to ride out a reasonable distance to meet anyone setting off from nearby.
Cheers,
Catherine

Re: Plymouth Triathlon
Brilliant, thanks Nico, much appreciated. I'll be in touch on here nearer the time to organise things. Or I might see you at training (I really should go sometime!!)

Re: Plymouth Triathlon
Everyone else OK? I have been really unwell with gastro since the race - missed 3 days of work - d&v, abdominal pain and fever. Much better tonight but I'm sure the Plymouth sound is responsible.

Man Poorly from Tri!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Simon
Hope your feeling better now? I've not had any adverse reaction to Plymouth sound and not heard of anybody else being poorly following the tri. You seemed to have been the unlucky one!!!
Hope your soon back to health and training hard again.

Re: Plymouth Triathlon
Hi Simon
Klara has been unwell too , but she did manage to come to swim training last night at Middlemoor!
Try drinking coke after open water swims - it's meant to kill off any bugs that may be in the stomach. Obviously too late for Plymouth, but worth bearing in mind for future swims. Alternatively, don't drink the water !
Hope you're ok now.

Re: Plymouth Triathlon
Fully recovered, thanks. Might even have to do some training tomorrow. Will try to remember not to drink the sea. Or swim in the coke for that matter. At least timed my illness during the tour de france.
