Tour Series

The Tour series will be coming to Exeter again on Thursday 3rd June.

The draft timetable looks like:
Midday – Activities begin in Bedford Square and Princesshay Square, mountain bike & BMX displays, a Cycling Circus, lots of stalls and activities to try, and information about how to get cycling in Exeter
3pm – The race circuit is totally closed and residents can can take part in activities on the route.
6pm – Circuit closed to public with teams warming up and individuals presented to the croud
7pm – Tour Series race starts
8.15pm – Race finishes cheers

8.30pm – Podium presentation.

The interesting bit is beteween 3.00 and 6.00 there will be three man time trials on the course. bounce

This means that we could put in a few teams to blast round the 1.4km closed road street circuit and show the cyclists what real athletes can do! tongue

Then we can watch the professionals doing it properly!!!

I'll get out more information as soon as I hear about it. In the meantime put the date in your diary.
