Anyone else doing the middle distance at the new Forrest in September ? Any ideas what the bike route is like, difficulty?

New Forrest
Hi Matt,
There are a few travelling up from Exeter for that event. We ought to try and travel together to cut costs. Personally, I might go up on the Friday after work and camp over for the weekend with the family....not definate yet though. I spoke to a couple of the guys who did it last year and I got the impression that the cycle is a little challenging but not too bad. I'll ask them for a bit more detail when I next see them.

Re: New forrest
hi Matt . i did N Forrest last year and the bike course is not too bad but can be deceptive in the wind . also clocked at 57.7 miles . the run turned out to be 14 miles with a 1 in 4 hill in the first couple of miles. having said that i would do it again . it is really well organised as it has two transition areas
