Exeter Valley Tri - Cheers
Hi,
I just wanted to write to say thanks for the support from the Exeter Tri club members today. I felt the event ran really smoothly and was really impressed by its organisation and the 'vibe'. You all helped make it a comfortable and enjoyable day and spurred me on. Mucho Thanks, I look forward to future training sessions.
Best wishes,
Paul.

Paul. You weren't even going to take part intially because you thought you weren't ready for it. Look at the results list. Not bad effort for someone who wasn't ready.

Thanks James
I enjoyed the day, though I struggled with the run (Achiles problem).
My cycle could have been faster but the wind got me as I came down the valley, I measured 28 mins to the turn.
Personal best for the swim my time was 10:22 in the pool previous T20 was 11:52
Back next year with a sub 10 min swim, 45 min cycle, 24 min target for the run and much improved transition times..
Brilliant day

Cheers Andy, I think I've got the bug, I've got to shake off the achiles problem and I'll be back to my 24 min runs.
My transitions suck....

A big thank you from me and all of us at North Devon Tri!
You put on another fantastic and friendly event..we had a couple of guys pop their 'tri cherries' yesterday and you couldn't do it at a better event.
Only one thing ever slightly spoils it and that's Bolham Roundabout...but then, it adds to the drama I guess!
Pat yourselves on the back! Another great job!

Re: Exeter Valley Tri - Cheers
Just want to add my thanks for another superb Exe Valley Tri yesterday!
Big well done to Andy for his hard work organising it all, and thank you to all the marshalls who turned up to help it run smoothly - the tri just wouldn't be possible without you.
Thanks too to Karen and Sally for providing warming cups of tea/coffee/chocolate - and scrummy cake!
And of course not forgetting all the wonderful triathletes who competed! Couldn't have done it without you either!!!
Well done everyone, great effort, great event, roll on next year - and hopefully I'll be fit to compete again by then - it was very hard watching you all having such a good time!

Re: Exeter Valley Tri - Cheers
This came in via email from a member of Tavistock Triathlon Club who raced on sunday. -
"Just to say a MASSIVE thank you for the most amazing event yesterday! I'm still buzzing even though I was up at 4 am yesterday morning!
I really loved the fact that there was no pressure for the swimming (the most daunting bit for me!) and it was great to chat to others in the Novice group who were all in a similar position.
The event was really, really well organised and I can't thank you enough for the experience. I'm now planning on what to do next; what bike I'd like next; swimming lessons to improve and loads of other lovely thoughts!
There was only one thing I'd have done to help the runners and that was to hi-light, some how, the entrance from the skate park in to the final finish tunnel area. A massive yellow arrow or something!?
Anyway, thank you, thank you once again! I'm looking forward to the results (although just pleased I completed) and photos!"
