TEIGNMOUTH SEA SWIMS.....................
[left]When are we going for a dip in the briney at costa del Teignmouth? I was thinking maybe get a sea swim in before May 3rd (anybody doing the New Forest Tri?) I was thinking maybe a Sat morning say 9'ish? Must have warmed up a bit by now? And thought it might be better in numbers! might generate a bit more heat!!
Wasn't there mention of a regular Sat swim session forthcoming??

Teignmouth sea swims
I'd be up for a Teignmouth sea swim on Saturday mornings. Can't promise I could do every Sat but it would be a good back up option for the Monday session. Could follow up with a run then breakfast.

sea swims
I've been swimming at Budleigh most Thursday mornings since March! It's definitely getting warmer (or I'm getting madder!). If anyone wants to join me, I'm there from 10.30am til about lunch time, so give me a call on 0777 2044 230.

TEIGNMOUTH SEA SWIMS.....................
So that's two of us, come on guys there must be some more who need to get some open water practice in. And like Steve says an alternative (or as well as) to Mondays has gotta be a good thing. The Beachcomber on the front isn't bad for a bite, and close enough to the car park, although will probably have to deposit some coins into meter by then.
I personnaly have a race this comming w/e so won't be around and also need to get upto Wimbleball to have a scoot around the bike course probably the sat after. Whilst on the subject, do I remember Rob was talking about organizing a coached session with lifeguard cover for Sat mornings??

Sea swims
The club sea swims begin on Monday 11th May 2009.
So get down to Teignmouth with all the thick neoprene for the 7.00p.m. start.
As it may well be bleedin feezin we will most probably restrict ourselves to a lot of short splash and dash incursions into the briney.
The will be the run afterwards and then the normal visit to the pub afterwards.

New Forest Tri
Ged, the sea has really warmed up, around the 9'c mark, I may come down on saturday morning, but Ellingham Ski lake is over 11', and that sounds a lot more inviting, see you there on sunday morning.

Well, we tried to go in.... the sea was fighting us off though. I think about 3 people lost their goggles. Kind of fun in a slightly terrifying way!

Teignmouth splash & nearly drown!!
Yes indeed, wasn't that fun
That was the first time I've removed my wetsuit & found sand inside
I was still finding it in parts of my body where sand shouldn't be
Still if I wanted to do something boring I'd take up football
