nottingham outlaw ironman

Mike Hill and myself joined the " Big Boys Club " ( our first ironman ) by completing the nottingham outlaw ironman triathlon on sunday. mike finished in 11hrs 46 mins and me 12hrs 32mins quick enough to give me second in my age catagory 55-59 or ( old enough to know better catagory ) . it is a well run event that will give you fast times if you put the training in . Lyn Curtis also got second in her age cat 40-44 in her first ironman distance

Fantastic result Alan! I kept logging on to the Live tracker which was great to see your progress round the course. Very impressed with the organisation. Yesterday, made sure those at Dawlish knew of your achievement! I'm sure the pain was worth it!
