Saturday Training Ride Empty Saturday Training Ride

Everyone.

I was thinking of starting a club bike ride Saturday afternoons, setting off around lunch times. The aim would be a steady aerobic ride of about 2-21/2 hours building over the Spring/Summer to about 4 hours or about 60 miles in length . The purpose being to build the aerobic base

There would be a coffee stop somewhere along the way and some hills thrown in for good measure. Every so often there would be a good session on Mamhead to build some strength but mostly it would be steady cycling about 15mph as an average speed I guess, certainly not eye-balls out.

Routes to be decided but I have one good route of about 35-40 miles which includes a nice hill at Sidmouth.

I would be going out most Saturday afternoons, not every week as some weeks I'm away.
