Saturday Training Ride Empty Saturday Training Ride

Everyone.

My broken hand has now mended and I am able to get out on the bike again.

I plan to do a ride Saturday 5th March starting at 12.30pm from Exeter Arena. I have entered the Bideford Half Marathon 6th March so the ride will be very steady and about 2 hours long or about 30 miles.

I plan to ride through Aylesbeare, past Exeter Airport, through to Tipton st John, then Ottery, past Escot ( cafe stop if anyone wants to) then through Talaton, through to Plymtree and B3212 and back home again.

No serious climbs involved.

Anyone who wants to come along please let me know

Hey Andy,

Glad to hear the your hand has mended.. I'd like to come along on Sat 5th, if its fair-weather (I have an assignment due that will call more loudly if its raining), to see if I can keep up on my mountain bike with road tyres and locked-out front suspension (you did say your taking it easy)>

If not I'll just drop back and head my own way home so np for you guys.

See you tonight,
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi, I only just joined the club last week so new to all of it! Before joining the club I've mainly been running and swimming but always enjoyed cycling too. What kind of bike is suitable for the Saturday rides? I only got a mounting bike at the moment but looking into getting another bike very soon. Would love to come along in very near future!!

Klara. You would be best off on a road bike. Make/model doesn't matter as long as it is serviceable.
